Three Musketeers

They were heady days. Tony told me, as we prepared ourselves for a meeting with Tony Greenwood the housing minister, that he felt that he, Ken and me were like the three musketeers, riding out together to fight the forces of injustice.

It was a fulsome comparison but, in my excitement, and just a little inflamed with Ken and Tony’s version of Marxist ideology, I swallowed it whole at the time.
